Account Executive


Yamato Transport Europe BV, an international supply chain partner and an subsidiary of Yamato Holdings Co., Ltd., the #1 logistic service in Japan, is looking to hire an Account Executive for our Supply

Chain & Logistics department.

As an Account Executive you will be in charge of making market developments and of generating business solutions to roll out. We are seeking for an energetic, motivated and loyal candidate who is interested in business development.


Key tasks and responsibilities:

Regarding to B2C business:
• Marketing investigations on potential targets USA <=> EU, Rest of World <=> EU
• Market developments in relation to inbound e-commerce

Regarding to B2B business:
• Marketing investigations on potential targets in such industries as automotive, electronics, medico-pharmaceutical
• Market developments in relation to cold chain transport and aftermarket parts distribution

Other tasks:

• Necessary administrative supports for our sales activities
• Reporting and profitability analysis of existing and potential accounts/business
• Creation of professional presentations and proposals
• Internal liaison in terms of business compliance (AEO and/or other licenses, e.g.)
• In addition to your inside activities, direct or face to face contacts with existing and potential customers are necessary, entailing business trips to inside and outside Europe.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or logistics
• Experience in sales or business development in the supply chain industry
• Fluent English, Japanese and/or Mandarin-Chinese language skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and negotiation skills
