Covenant with Customs & Tax Authorities in The Netherlands

It is with great pride to announce you, that Yamato Transport Europe B.V. as first Logistics Service-Provider in The Netherlands, has been able to sign a Covenant Horizontal Supervision with both The Dutch Tax- and Customs Administration.

The Dutch Tax- and Customs Administration have the intention to supervise based on mutual confidence and trust. This means, more than in previous years, the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration is aiming towards achieving closer cooperation with enterprises, organizations and other non-governmental organizations (NGO’s). This form of cooperation is known as Horizontal Supervision and is laid down in a Covenant.

The Covenant results in greater efficiency for all parties concerned. The basis for this covenant is transparency, understanding and trust, which inevitably will lead to an effective and efficient co-operation between the three parties.

The benefits can be found in an open relationship, whereby positions can be determined more efficiently and effectively.

The fact that Yamato Transport Europe BV has been able to sign such agreement underlines that our procedures comply with the highest standards of The Netherlands’ Authorities.
